In the past year we’ve seen women around the globe take a stand and lift each other up in protection of their rights, safety, health and professional careers. This March, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month with a go-getter attitude and exciting perspective on equality.
To honor this glorious month, we’re taking the opportunity to highlight a few women in the industry who are working harder than ever to shatter the glass ceiling.
Tory Burch Foundation - #EmbraceAmbition
It’s no secret that the Tory Burch Foundation is making great strides toward women’s equality and empowerment. Last year the foundation launched #EmbraceAmbition to change the idea that ambition in a woman is seen as negative. In its second year running, more than 1.3 million global actions have been taken to #EmbraceAmbition.

Diane von Furstenberg - #InCharge
Building her empire from the ground up, Diane von Furstenberg has been an influencer in the industry since the beginning. This International Women’s Day, DVF released a capsule collection featuring #InCharge on t-shirts, handbags and beanies with 20% of the proceeds donated to Vital Voices. Along with the collection, 20% of all full price items on DVF went to the global non-profit.
